Principal & FounderAs a K-State student, Blade started 502 Media Group in 2008 and has led its growth from from a freelancer’s contract-work opportunity operating out of his basement apartment to a full-time staff of 10 and a handful of interns with clients across the US and a few in some other countries. Blade finds solutions. If you have a problem and need a new way to solve it, the best thing you can do is have a cup of coffee with Blade.
Clients win because Christy makes sure our team is equipped with what we need to succeed. She makes sure the trains run on time, there’s clarity on what needs to be done and that we all have an advocate, making this a great place to work!
User Experience (UX) Designer
Collin develops and executes design that helps the target audience have an exceptional experience with client marketing efforts, including corporate branding, collateral, websites, digital campaigns and more. When it comes to design, Collin starts by thinking of the end user and how they’re going to interact with the finished product. Because of that, everyone wins.
Originally from Texas, Daron studied animation, interactive technology, video graphics and special effect at the University of Texas at Dallas. But the great thing about Daron is that he never stops learning. After college, he continued studying programming and eventually picked up web development to pay the bills. Five years later he’s still at it. He’s now an avid autodidactic of all things tech and open source as well as a frequent contributor at local technology meetups.
Jordan is a positive force who leaves a trail of awesome wherever he goes. Always studying. Always improving. Always designing with a smile. There’s a difference between making pretty things and quality design. The former gets a “wow” from viewers. The latter gets the wow plus action. Jordan specializes in the latter and we’re thankful for it.
As our Content Strategist, Kaila provides written, creative and visual content in a variety of formats to advance our clients’ organizational objectives. She earned a degree in Visual Journalism from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. Her documentary video work has appeared on Oprah, Nickelodeon, and Teen Nick, and has been shown and placed in several international film festivals.
Kehoulani leads the 502 creative team and works with our clients to better identify consistent and strategic ways to bring stories to life. She’s put her own blood, sweat and tears into helping 502 grow from a small team of designers into a powerful storytelling agency full of happy problem solvers.
Leah’s our VP of GTD…getting things done. Our clients have someone they can count on to make sure great ideas become reality! In her role as Account Manager, Leah builds and maintains strong relationships with 502 clients in order to understand their key business objectives and ensure finished products are on target and on time.
The world needs more Sam Coonrods. He’ll give you the shirt off his back and do anything he can to help clients or teammates win. Since joining 502 in 2016, Sam’s been invaluable assisting our accounts team serve clients across a variety of industries. He has category experience in retail, higher education, banking and art, and has assisted in the completion of projects spanning print, digital and social media.
